Carol on mother's day hiLong ago I exchanged the cement, chaos, and car fumes of San Francisco suburbia for the cleaner, quieter, lifestyle of Oregon. This liberation slowed me down and opened my mind to the joys of simplicity and a clearer head.

 

Piggyback2Years of introspection, education and related jobs sparked my passion for people- watching and one thing really jumped out at me; most of us are  trying to cram too much into our days. I just knew there had to be a better way than the stress of constant busyness. Some folks thrive on the energy of “full speed ahead”, but not me. I try hard to  help myself and others put the breaks on and, wow, what a relief! It’s trite but true, our lives are meant to be enjoyed, not merely tolerated.
